Silverman/Borenstein was established with the viewpoint of providing high quality legal services to clients that range from large financial institutions with sophisticated claims to individual creditors who need representation on a simple matter. It has always been our philosophy that no matter how large the client or how complex the case our Firm provides the same devotion of quality legal services.
Our Firm provides a broad range of legal services on behalf of creditors in both the Rocky Mountain region and across the country. We represent creditors in a wide variety of practice areas. We provide legal services in the areas of commercial and consumer debt collection, both national and international, regulatory compliance, subrogation, bankruptcy, replevin, foreclosure, landlord/tenant, post judgment enforcement and domestication of judgments. We help our clients develop strategies for debt collection litigation management as well administration of their accounts receivable. Our primary concern is to utilize an approach that will make economic sense for the client.
We provide litigation defense under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, the Telephone Consumer Protection Act and the Fair Credit Reporting Act as well as similar state laws. We also represent debt collectors and collection agencies in matters before state regulatory agencies. The Firm regularly provides advice to clients on licensing requirements and compliance matters.
Our attorneys are members of ACA International, including the ACA’s MAP section since its inception. We are members of the International Association of Commercial Collectors (IACC), the National Association of Subrogation Professionals (NASP), the National Association of Retail Collection Attorneys (NARCA), American Lawyers Quarterly (ALQ), and The National List. In 2011 the Firm’s partners were part of the team that formed the Colorado Creditor Bar Association (CCBA).
We are committed to providing exceptional legal services in a sensible and cost effective manner on behalf of our clients. Plus, we really enjoy what we do. This is what sets us apart as the “Go To” creditors’ rights law firm.
